Host a local directory for your own town or city. Encourage local sourcing and community support and networking by simply download the Template and get started!
Who can host a Shop My Town?
Anyone with passion and (at least) a mildly-amicable relationship with technology. As long as another host has not already claimed your town for a Shop Your Town website.
Hosts are encouraged to launch heir websites within 18 months of downloading their template. After 18 months, the town may be reserved by another interested Host.
Will I have access to technical support?
We offer several packages that include varying levels of technical support, depending on your experience level and technical skills. We do offer hands-on tech support, in which we can be granted access to your website to handle developments for you. The current rate is $60/hour.
How customizable is the website?
Your Shop My Town template is fully customizable with Wix Editor. From colors to icons, borders and font, to even whole listing pages to serve the needs of your local community.
Hosts are required to use the name "Shop [town name, state name]"and to link to the main Shop My Town website to reach more potential hosts and keep the movement going.
